Destination: Downeast Maine
Ever been there? No? You should go. Some of the most beautiful coastline in the country. Visit some of the most majestic lighthouses you have ever seen. You may also want to think about picking up a lobster roll (Mabel’s in Kennebunkport is one of the best!) or crab cake along the way while you visit numerous shops and museums or take a hike or bike ride on some of the many trails at Acadia National Park.
Destination: Newport, Rhode Island
Ever been there? No? You should go. This video consists of photographs taken in my hometown of Newport, Rhode Island which includes photography from Ocean Drive, Fort Adams, Ida Lewis Yacht Club, The New York Yacht Club Harbour Court, Brenton Cove, Sachuest Point, and Washington St. Face it – if you lived here, you’d be home by now. Stop in for a visit and see one of the most beautiful small cities in New England.
Destination: Sarasota Bay & Gulf Coast Beaches, Florida
Ever been there? No? It’s time. Sarasota Bay, Florida has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Beaches on Anna Maria Island and Long Boat Key are spectacular with the white sand and warm Gulf Coast temperatures. If you’ve never been here – it’s time!
The other thing that’s really great (and very soothing) about spending time along the Gulf Coast of Florida is being able to see the Manatees when they are swimming. As Florida Manatees are an endangered species, you may not see them very often but when you do, it’s a treat – the video is below.
Destination: Harpers Ferry, WV
Ever been there? No? You should go. This video consists of photographs taken in and around Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Harpers Ferry is a historic part of our country as a result of the Civil War (there are other Civil War Battlefields from Harpers Ferry to Maryland and Gettysburg, PA. The buildings and area are well-restored and worth seeing.
Florida Manatees
Ever seen a Florida Manatee in the water? No? This video will show you a few manatees swimming in Sarasota Bay in Florida. Manatees are endangered but you can still see them frolicking in the Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota and Tampa Bay.
Destination: Dumbarton Oaks Gardens, Washington, DC

Destination: Block Island, Rhode Island
Ever been there? No? You should go Block Island is one of those quaint New England Islands that has a small population of (as of 2010), 1051. In the summers however, the tourists arrive and experience all that’s awesome about spending time here. Whether it’s to see the 4th of July parade, compete in one of the annual fishing tournaments or just to have some time away, Block Island is a wonderful place to visit.
